LATEST NEWS: Allegations of trusteeship to CHP… Minister Tunç says ‘it’s disinformation’: Don’t believe it! – Breaking News

Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç attended the symposium titled ‘Judiciary and Business World’ held in the İzmit district of Kocaeli and delivered the opening speech. Minister Tunç answered questions from the press following the program. Responding to a question about the cancellation of the meeting between Minister Tunç and the DEM Party scheduled for tomorrow, regarding the health of TBMM Deputy Speaker and DEM Party Istanbul Deputy Sırrı Süreyya Önder, Minister Tunç expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery and outlined the content of the meeting that was postponed due to Süreyya Bey’s illness.

Minister Tunç stated, “There were certain issues that they were going to express as part of the ‘Terror-Free Turkey’ process and they were going to share these issues with us, but of course, due to Süreyya Bey’s illness, we had to postpone it a bit. Our main focus at the moment is, of course, for Sırrı Süreyya Önder to recover, to return to his former state, and to join us as soon as possible. Our wish and prayer for him are this. He was truly contributing to this process with his reconciliatory personality. He was a person who believed in a Terror-Free Turkey and had initiated significant efforts in this regard. As a result of some discussions, and then with his delegation in the Ministry of Justice, we were going to meet tomorrow and listen to the issues and views they would convey to us.”

Minister Tunç also addressed the increasing number of cybercrimes and the upcoming legislative changes to combat such crimes. He emphasized the importance of protecting personal rights and maintaining order within the legal system.

Lastly, Minister Tunç commented on the controversy surrounding the reading of the Anayasa Mahkemesi decision regarding Gezi Park case convict Can Atalay in the Parliament, stating that such actions do not reflect the dignity of the Parliament. He warned against spreading misinformation on social media and emphasized the need for responsible sharing of information.

As the Ministry of Justice continues its efforts to address various legal issues and promote a fair justice system, the focus remains on ensuring the well-being of all citizens and upholding the rule of law.
