“LAÜ Granted 11 Acres of State Land Adjacent to Lefke Campus” – BRTK
The Ministry of Finance has granted 11 acres of state land to the Lefke European University (EUL) for its development and expansion. The land, located next to the EUL campus in Lefke, was handed over to the university in a protocol signed by Finance Minister Özdemir Berova and EUL Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Yükselen.
In a statement, Finance Minister Berova praised the rapid development of EUL as a state university and emphasized the positive impact it has had on the Lefke region. He expressed his satisfaction with the protocol, which aims to further enhance the university’s facilities and educational opportunities. Berova wished for continued success for EUL and highlighted its valuable contribution to the higher education and economy of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
Rector Yükselen also lauded the support provided by Minister Berova, stating that it has been instrumental in the university’s progress. He expressed gratitude for the signed protocol, which he believes will greatly benefit the university and the local community.
