Launching the Ecotracker Mobile App in Baku
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources in Azerbaijan recently hosted the presentation of the Ecotracker mobile application. Developed by the Eco-social center “EcoSphere” with the support of the Ministry and the Agency for State Support to NGOs, Ecotracker is the first national mobile application in Azerbaijan aimed at promoting a sustainable lifestyle and the Zero Waste concept.
This innovative application is designed to increase environmental literacy, especially among the youth, and encourage individual environmental responsibility. By providing users with practical tools and information, Ecotracker aims to empower individuals to make eco-friendly choices in their daily lives.
The launch of Ecotracker marks a significant step towards raising awareness about environmental issues and fostering a culture of sustainability in Azerbaijan. As more people download and use the app, it is hoped that positive changes in behavior and attitudes towards the environment will lead to a greener and cleaner future for the country.
