Litres Provides Catalog of Books in Uzbek

Russian book service “Litres” has announced the launch of a new website in Uzbekistan called Litres.uz. The website will offer a catalog of 1,500 books in Uzbek, as well as publications in Russian and other languages. By the end of the year, the range is expected to expand to 4,000 electronic and audiobooks, making it the largest digital book catalog in the country.

Users will have the option to purchase books individually on Litres.uz. The website will feature books from 13 national publishers, including Asaxiy books, Sharq, Adabiyot, and Yangi asr avlodi. Contracts have already been signed with these publishers to ensure a wide variety of books are available on the platform.

Litres.uz will offer many features that are available on the Russian version of the service. Users will be able to bookmark pages, save favorite quotes, and read introductory fragments. The website will only be available in Uzbek (Latin script), but the main page will showcase books in Russian, Uzbek, and English simultaneously. Additionally, books in Uzbek will also provide the option to choose between Cyrillic and Latin scripts. Users will also be able to browse books by genre in the catalog.

With the launch of Litres.uz, readers in Uzbekistan will have access to a vast collection of books in various languages. It is expected to enhance the reading experience and make a wide range of literature easily accessible to the customers in the country.
