Local Resident Rescued After Falling Into Ravine in Navoi
A local resident in the Navoi region of Uzbekistan had a terrifying experience yesterday when he fell into a ravine on the Ak-Tog mountain range in the Nurata region. The victim, who was grazing livestock at the time, found himself in a dangerous situation without any means of escape.
The Navoi regional Emergency Situations Department quickly responded to the incident and dispatched rescuers to the scene. After conducting search and rescue operations, the injured citizen was located and provided with psychological support and first aid. Using special rescue equipment, the victim was safely extracted from the ravine and transported to a secure location.
Fortunately, the victim’s condition is now stable after receiving prompt medical care at a nearby hospital. While the outcome of the incident is positive, it is unclear how long the victim was stranded in the ravine before assistance arrived.
