Lost in the Plateau: A Woman Over 2 Meters Tall

Three individuals who were trapped in İnönü Plateau, located in Turkey, have been successfully rescued by emergency teams. Ali İhsan S., Enver M., and Talha A. had come to the plateau for a 4-day trip from Istanbul and Kocaeli when they found themselves trapped by snow exceeding 2 meters in thickness.

Local authorities were alerted to their situation and quickly mobilized rescue efforts. The Pamukova District Gendarmerie Command, AFAD, and Pamukova Municipality Anti-Snow Fight teams coordinated their efforts to reach the stranded individuals. After successfully accessing the area, the teams were able to rescue the three individuals and safely transport them to the Hüseyinli neighborhood.

Following a health check at the hospital, the rescued individuals expressed their gratitude to the teams who had come to their aid. In light of this incident, teams have issued a warning to citizens, urging them to avoid climbing to neighborhoods and highlands during times of heavy snowfall to prevent similar emergencies from occurring.
