LOT Polish Airlines launches new air connection from Warsaw to Tashkent

The international airport of Tashkent celebrated the grand opening of a new air connection, with LOT Polish Airlines initiating regular flights from Warsaw to Uzbekistan’s capital. The inaugural flight took off on the 13th of March at 22:55 from Warsaw’s airport and landed in Tashkent at 09:00 local time the next day.

The ceremony marking the launch of this new air route was attended by Tashkent airport’s director, Jasur Pulatov, LOT Polish Airlines’ CEO, Michał Fijoł, and distinguished guests from Uzbekistan and Poland. CEO Michał Fijoł highlighted the convenience of the route for Uzbekistani citizens, as it provides access to nearly 80 cities across Europe and North America via Warsaw Chopin Airport.

Flights between Tashkent and Warsaw will operate three times a week on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using a Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft. Additionally, LOT Polish Airlines plans to add an extra flight on Tuesdays with a return to Warsaw on Wednesdays in April and May.

Tickets for these flights are available for purchase on LOT Polish Airlines’ official website, www.lot.com, as well as at airline counters and travel agencies. This new air connection is expected to strengthen ties between Poland and Uzbekistan while providing greater travel options for passengers.
