Man dies after being taken to Bekabad DIA building
A man has tragically passed away after falling ill and losing consciousness in a building corridor, as officially reported. The incident occurred in front of a police department in the city of Bekabad, as confirmed by the press service of the Tashkent regional Department of Internal Affairs (DIA).
The deceased citizen, identified as Kh.Yu., was undergoing investigative actions before the case was sent to court. On June 19, 2024, during the court proceedings in Bekabad, Kh.Yu.’s brothers, aged 43 and 46, engaged in a conflict following their brother’s imprisonment sentencing.
To restore order and ensure the safety of those present, regional DIA officers were called to intervene. Three prevention inspectors managed to resolve the conflict and escort the individuals involved to the city police department for documentation.
Unfortunately, one of the brothers, D.Yu., fell unconscious in front of the police department and was promptly transferred to the city hospital. Tragically, he was pronounced dead upon examination by medical staff.
A forensic medical examination has been scheduled to determine the precise cause of D.Yu.’s death. The situation is currently being supervised by the prosecutor’s office, with an ongoing investigation by the Investigative Committee.
