Tragic Accident in Bilecik: Man Dies After Tree Falls on Him
A man lost his life in a devastating accident when a tree he was cutting down fell on him in Bilecik’s Pazaryeri district. The victim, identified as Refik A. (65), was in the process of cutting down a poplar tree in the field in the Demiraltı area of Karaköy village when the incident occurred.
According to reports, the tree suddenly collapsed, trapping Refik A. underneath and resulting in his untimely death at the scene. Following the tragic accident, authorities transferred the deceased man’s body to Pazaryeri District State Hospital after the prosecutor conducted a thorough investigation.
In response to the incident, the Gendarmerie has launched an investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Meanwhile, it has been revealed that the victim had traveled from İnegöl district in Bursa to Pazaryeri specifically to engage in wood-cutting activities.
