Man Fatally Shoots Ex-Lover with Rifle, Suffers Serious Injury in Retaliation
A tragic incident unfolded in an apartment on Bekir Sıtkı Erdoğan Street in Koçakdede neighborhood, leaving one person dead and another seriously injured. According to reports from DHA, the perpetrator, identified as “the Moon”, allegedly shot his ex-lover, Hatice Göktaş, in the neck with a rifle following a heated argument.
The attack led to a violent confrontation, as Göktaş’s son and nephews intervened and managed to subdue the assailant before law enforcement and medical personnel arrived at the scene. Both Göktaş and the Moon were rushed to Karaman Training and Research Hospital for treatment, but tragically, Göktaş succumbed to her injuries despite the best efforts of medical staff.
The Moon, who sustained serious injuries during the scuffle, is currently being treated in the hospital’s intensive care unit. Meanwhile, Göktaş’s son, who was involved in the altercation, has been taken into police custody for questioning.
Authorities have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the deadly shooting. The community is left shocked and saddened by the violent turn of events, as they await further updates on the case.
