Manas Airport Security Alert Ends in False Alarm

A recent scare at Manas airport in Bishkek regarding a potential bomb threat has turned out to be a false alarm. The information about a bomb at the airport was not confirmed, and evacuated passengers and employees were able to re-enter the terminal as work resumed in normal mode.
The incident occurred when an email was received at 1:30 p.m. stating that a bomb was planned to explode at 3 p.m. As a precaution, everyone at the airport was evacuated until further notice.
This is not the first time that such a situation has occurred at Manas airport. Just last week, on May 16, the airport was evacuated due to a similar message about a planted explosive device, which also turned out to be a false alarm.
Authorities are reminding the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or threats to ensure the safety and security of all passengers and employees at the airport.
