Manas International Airport Set for Major Reconstruction Effort

Manas International Airport to Undergo Major Reconstruction

Manas International Airport is gearing up for a significant milestone in its development. A large-scale reconstruction of the air terminal complex, focused on enhancing passenger convenience and service quality, is set to begin soon. The airport’s press service has confirmed this exciting news.

Currently, the airport’s infrastructure spans approximately 39,000 square meters. With the upcoming renovation, an additional 18,000 square meters will be added to expand the complex. This expansion aims to greatly enhance passenger conditions and streamline terminal operations.

As part of the reconstruction project, there are plans to increase the number of check-in counters, enlarge the waiting area, and establish modern relaxation and dining spaces. The introduction of new technological solutions will further enhance the airport’s efficiency and overall customer experience.

A key feature of the modernization effort will be the construction of a state-of-the-art skywalk—a covered walkway that will link the main airport buildings. This convenient passage will shield passengers from inclement weather and facilitate quicker movement between terminals, enhancing their overall airport experience.

According to Manasbek Samidinov, Chairman of the Board of Airports of Kyrgyzstan OJSC, the airport’s reconstruction will bring it up to high international standards. “The extensive renovation of Manas Airport represents a significant advancement in Kyrgyzstan’s aviation infrastructure development, allowing us to meet global benchmarks and provide a comfortable environment for both passengers and airlines,” he stated.

With these exciting updates, Manas International Airport is set to elevate its offerings and enhance the overall travel experience for all its visitors.
