
Manisa Raid Results in 1 Arrest of PKK Terrorist

A Syrian national suspected of being affiliated with the terrorist organization PKK/KCK-PYD/YPG has been detained following a successful operation carried out by the teams of the Provincial Police Department’s Anti-Terrorism Branch Directorate and the Intelligence Branch Directorate.
The suspect, identified as FEH and believed to have been operating within the YPG in 2016, was captured as a result of physical and technical surveillance conducted against the terrorist organization.
Furthermore, during the operation, a search at the suspect’s location led to the seizure of drugs. Following the completion of necessary procedures by the police, FEH was then referred to the courthouse where he was subsequently arrested by the judgeship.
This latest development serves as a reminder of the ongoing efforts being made to combat terrorism and dismantle terrorist organizations in the region. The collaboration between law enforcement agencies and intelligence units has proven to be effective in identifying and apprehending individuals involved in illegal and harmful activities.
