Married Couple Attacked, Safe Stolen by Unidentified Assailants
Unknown individuals burglarized a residence in the Kochkor district of Naryn region, attacking a married couple with a metal bar and making off with a significant amount of money kept in a safe. The relatives of the victims recounted the harrowing ordeal to 24.kg news agency.
The distressing event occurred during the night on January 7 in Don Alysh village. Intruders forcibly entered the home of a local resident, brutally assaulting the sleeping husband and wife with a metal bar before absconding with a safe containing a substantial sum of money. The couple, severely injured, was discovered by their family members, who promptly sought medical and police assistance.
A family member revealed that both individuals sustained severe head injuries in the vicious attack. The husband, aged 47, underwent surgery and has since regained consciousness, while his 41-year-old wife remains in a coma. They are currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Bishkek. It was disclosed that the family patriarch had sold livestock and stored the earnings in the stolen safe.
Authorities from the Department of Internal Affairs in Naryn region have assured the public that further details regarding the incident will be disclosed at a later time.
