More than 1,800 Citizens of Central Asian Countries Facing Deportation from the United States
In recent news, it has been reported that over 1,800 citizens from Central Asian countries are facing deportation from the United States. According to the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), by the end of 2024, a total of 1,445,549 foreigners from various countries have been added to the deportation list.
Among the top countries on this list are Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, with significant numbers of citizens facing deportation. Additionally, citizens from China, Russia, and Central Asian countries such as Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Turkmenistan are also included in this list.
It is important to note that these individuals are not currently in custody, but a final decision has been made regarding their deportation. This development comes after the U.S. administration, under the leadership of President Donald Trump, decided to suspend the entry of migrants from Mexico by disabling the CBP One app. This service, which was launched in 2023 during the Joe Biden administration, allowed migrants to schedule appointments to enter the U.S. through official checkpoints.
