Bishkek – 12:06, 08 October 2024

According to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, money transfers from Russia to Kyrgyzstan have seen a significant increase in the first seven months of 2024. A total of $1,552.3 billion was transferred during this period, marking a $90.2 million rise compared to the same period in 2023.

On the other hand, money transfers from Kyrgyzstan to Russia saw a slight decrease, with $236.3 million being sent from the Kyrgyz Republic to Russia from January to July 2024. This amount is $26.5 million less than the transfers made during the same period last year.

These statistics indicate a strong flow of funds between the two countries, highlighting the economic ties and connections that exist between Russia and Kyrgyzstan. It will be interesting to see how these trends continue to evolve in the coming months.
