Forced displaced Palestinians in Gaza defy Israel’s ethnic cleansing plans
Bergusi has issued a statement following the return of forcibly displaced Palestinians from the central and southern regions to the north of the Gaza Strip this morning.
In his statement, Bergusi stated, “Our heroic people have thwarted Israel’s attempts at ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip.”
Trump unable to achieve what Netanyahu failed to accomplish through pressure
Bergusi emphasized that US President Donald Trump cannot achieve what Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his army failed to achieve through death and destruction, even with political pressure and immigration plans.
“From the beginning of the attacks, Israeli war criminals stated that their aim was the ‘ethnic cleansing of the Gaza Strip population and deporting them to Sinai.’ They dropped 87 thousand tons of bombs, resulting in the deaths of tens of thousands and the destruction of homes and infrastructure. They devastated most of it,” Bergusi stated.
“Hundreds of thousands of individuals are returning today, thwarting Zionist plans,” Bergusi added.
Palestinian resistance foils Zionist plans
Despite the immense challenges, the Palestinian people showed heroic resistance and prevented a recurrence of the 1948 ethnic cleansing, where 70 percent of the population was forcibly removed.
“Today, hundreds of thousands of people are returning, thwarting Zionist plans and signaling the grand return of Palestinian refugees with Palestine as their only homeland, whether the occupiers accept it or not,” Bergusi stated.
Following more than 15 months of intense attacks by Israel, Palestinians who were forcibly displaced have begun to return to the north of the Gaza Strip from the central and southern regions as of this morning.
