“Maviye Sürgün, first-ever Turkish series in Americas, to air on Show TV”
The filming of the upcoming Turkish series, Maviye Exile, is currently underway in Marmaris Selimiye. Produced by O3 Medya, the series is directed by Nezaket Coşkun, and Saner Ayar is the producer. Starring Caner Cindoruk, Damla Sönmez, and Serkan Altunorak, Maviye Exile also features other talented actors such as Ayça Erturan, Ruhi Sarı, Gökşen Ateş, and Hakan Salınmış. The series, which boasts a fairy-tale atmosphere, is set to debut on Show TV soon.
The plot of Maviye Exile revolves around successful SAT commando Ali (Caner Cindoruk) who, after being suspended due to an investigation, moves with his children and sick wife Ayda to his father-in-law Salih’s boutique hotel in Çamlıkıyı. Sadly, Ayda passes away shortly after they arrive, and the entire family mourns her loss.
One night, Ali saves a woman named Defne (Damla Sönmez) who is stranded on a boat and suffers from temporary amnesia. Ali brings Defne to the hotel as a guest of God, but she is actually a con artist who regains her memory piece by piece. Meanwhile, Defne unexpectedly encounters Ozan (Serkan Altunorak), the man from her past whom she thought she left behind. Ali, Defne, and Ozan find themselves in a complex triangle that leads them to experience passionate love and spill family secrets.
Maviye Exile is the first outcome of the agreement between Intermedia and NBCU’s American television channel Telemundo. Fans of Turkish dramas are eagerly awaiting Maviye Exile’s premiere on Show TV.
