Former Turkish Land Forces Chief of Staff Tevfik Algan, born on 31 January 1963 in Konya, has had a distinguished career in the Turkish military. During the graduation ceremony of the Turkish Military Academy the same year, he advocated for the slogan “Mustafa Kemal’s soldiers” and presided over the High Disciplinary Board, where he voted against a decision with three other officers.
