Yaşar Karadeniz Appointed as Governor of Sakarya
Yaşar Karadeniz, a seasoned public servant, was recently appointed as the Governor of Sakarya. Born in Samsun in 1965, Karadeniz has extensive experience in various leadership roles throughout his career.
After completing his education in Samsun, Karadeniz pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Samsun Technical High School. He then went on to graduate from Ankara University, Faculty of Political Sciences, in Public Administration.
Karadeniz’s career in public service began in 1988 when he was appointed as a District Governor Candidate to the Amasya Governorship. During his time in this role, he had the opportunity to spend a year in England and complete his internship in Tercan District of Erzincan.
Throughout the years, Karadeniz has served as District Governor in several regions, including Konya-Tashkent, Hakkari-Cukurca, Ordu-Aybastı, Mardin-Yesilli, Trabzon-Besikduzu, Canakkale-Eceabat, Tekirdag-Saray, Gaziantep-Nizip, and Gaziosmanpasa. He has also held the positions of Governor in Kastamonu and Manisa.
With his wealth of experience and dedication to public service, Karadeniz was appointed as the Governor of Sakarya through a Presidential Appointment Decree. He officially began his duties on 19 August 2023, bringing his expertise and leadership to the region.
