Meeting with Nippon Foundation Head
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, M.Byashimova, recently met with the Executive Director of the Nippon Foundation, Yuji Mori, during his visit to Turkmenistan on November 7, 2023.
The meeting highlighted the fruitful cooperation between Turkmenistan and Japan in various spheres, including politics, trade, culture, and humanitarian work. It was noted that Japanese companies have been making significant contributions to the Turkmen economy for many years.
The discussion also centered around expanding and strengthening cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Nippon Foundation on various projects, such as “JACAFA”, “NipCA”, and “Read Japan”. There was a particular emphasis on projects and programs related to youth policy.
Additionally, the meeting addressed the future prospects for collaboration in the fields of education, science, healthcare, sports, and tourism.
The meeting between the Deputy Minister and the Executive Director highlights the commitment of both parties to further enhancing their partnership and exploring new avenues for cooperation. This continued collaboration promises to bring about mutual benefits for both Turkmenistan and the Nippon Foundation.
