Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality Provides Home Hair Care and Health Services to Elderly Residents
The Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality has made an announcement regarding the provision of home hair care and health services to the elderly who live in all villages affiliated with the municipality.
As per the statement released by the municipality, the hair care services are being provided with the support of teachers and students from Karpaz Vocational High School. In addition, a 2-person team from the On-Site Care Branch conducts health checks and offers support with dressing, blood pressure monitoring, blood sugar measurement, as well as administering injections and supplying medications.
Furthermore, employees from the municipality make visits to the homes of citizens on their birthdays, celebrating these special occasions with gifts.
Mayor Fatma Çimen Tuğlu, who has accompanied some of these visits, emphasized the municipality’s commitment to supporting the elderly, stating, “Our elderly citizens are precious to us. It is our duty to bring joy to their lives.”
The efforts of the Mehmetçik Büyükkonuk Municipality to provide essential care and celebrate the lives of elderly residents reflect a commendable commitment to the well-being of the community.
