Merve Çelebi Leads Team to Victory in CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour
Merve Çelebi and her teammates recently competed in the Georgia Stage, the first leg of the CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour, and secured a first-place finish for Turkey. The Turkey 1 team, consisting of Merve, Simge Yalçın, Nursel Şencel, and Zeynep Dila Şahin, triumphed over the Turkey 2 team with a 2-0 victory in the final match.
With this win, Turkey concluded the first leg of the tournament with 1 gold and 1 silver medal. The success of Merve Çelebi and her team has brought pride and recognition to Turkey in the realm of snow volleyball.
The next leg of the “CEV Snow Volleyball European Tour” is set to take place at Erzurum Palandöken Ski Center in Turkey from 12-15 March. This event will provide another opportunity for Turkey to showcase their talent and compete against top-level international teams.
