
Methamphetamine Found in Stomach – Late Breaking News from Turkey

The Provincial Police Department Narcotics Crimes Branch Directorate and Intelligence Branch Directorate teams have successfully taken down a drug trafficking operation in Erzincan. Four suspects, identified as Fuc, RBC, Ö.K., and SS, were caught in the act of transporting drugs.
Authorities received information that drugs would be arriving in Erzincan and were able to track down the suspects in a vehicle. After stopping the vehicle, a search revealed 16.40 grams of methamphetamine. Additionally, upon further investigation, it was discovered that the suspects had ingested an additional 21.39 grams of methamphetamine, which was confirmed through a tomography scan.
The four suspects were detained and the drugs were removed from their stomachs. They are now facing charges of “drugs or stimulating substance manufacturing and trade” and have been referred to the court for further legal proceedings.
This successful operation highlights the dedication and hard work of the law enforcement teams in combatting drug trafficking in the region. Authorities continue to crack down on illegal drug activities to ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
