MFA Officials from Uzbekistan and France Prepare for Strategic Partnerships
The Head of the Treaty-Legal Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), Amir Sultanov, recently held a meeting with the French Ambassador, Aurélia Bouchez. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss bilateral agreements that are currently under development and potential documents that could be signed during future high-level visits.
Both parties exchanged views on the importance of drafting these agreements to improve the treaty and legal foundation of Uzbek-French cooperation. The practical significance of these agreements was emphasized, especially in key areas such as migration, renewable energy, agriculture, water resources management, mutual recognition of certification results, sports, industry and advanced technologies, education, and cultural heritage.
The MFA report highlighted the commitment of both Uzbekistan and France to intensify their examination of these agreements and documents in order to further enhance their cooperation. This meeting signifies the ongoing efforts of both countries to strengthen their relationship and work together on important issues of mutual interest.
