Midterm Election Candidate Names to be Drawn Tomorrow at Constitutional Court Hall
The Supreme Election Board of Turkey will hold a name drawing ceremony for the Parliamentary and Local Organization Bodies Midterm Elections on June 25th. The event will take place at the Constitutional Court Hall at 2 pm. This ceremony will determine the order of broadcasting propaganda speeches made by political parties and independent candidates on Bayrak Radio and Television. It will also decide the order in which candidates in the electoral district will be listed on the ballot. According to the announcement numbered 16 of the Election and Referendum Law No. 5/1976, the inclusion of political parties and independent candidates on the ballot papers in the Parliamentary By-election will be decided during the drawing of names ceremony. The ceremony will be held in the presence of political parties, their representatives, and independent candidates.
