Minibus Accident in Ağrı: 3 Injured, 55 Sheep Killed
A minibus collided with a herd of cattle in the Diyadin district of Ağrı on the Ağrı-Iran highway, resulting in injuries and casualties. The incident occurred when the minibus, whose license plate and driver’s identity have not yet been determined, struck a small herd of cattle belonging to Aydın Başboğa.
As soon as the authorities were notified, gendarmerie, health, and fire teams rushed to the scene to assess the situation. Tragically, the collision led to the death of 55 sheep in the flock, while three individuals sustained injuries in the accident. The injured parties were promptly transported to the nearby Diyadin State Hospital for medical treatment.
The incident serves as a stark reminder of the importance of road safety and the need for drivers to remain vigilant at all times, especially when traveling in rural areas where livestock may be present on or near the roadways.
