A tragic accident occurred in Diyarbakir, resulting in two fatalities and 13 injuries after a minibus traveling from Kulp to Diyarbakir city center rolled into a stockade. The license plate of the minibus was reported to be 06 BT 3861, but the driver’s name has not been released.

Emergency services were quickly dispatched to the scene after eye witnesses reported the accident. Medical and gendarmerie teams arrived to assess the situation and provide assistance. Unfortunately, Zehra Can and Zeliha Akın, two of the passengers, lost their lives due to the severity of their injuries.

The remaining passengers were identified as FB (42), HC (56), SB (41), NS (50), HB (75), GA (58), and seven people whose names are not yet known. They were immediately transported to hospitals in Kulp and Lice for treatment.

Following the accident, bodies were removed from the minibus and taken to the Forensic Medicine Institute for an autopsy. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
