Minister Arıklı Visits Azerbaijan
Minister of Public Works and Transport Visits Baku Representation of TRNC
Minister of Public Works and Transport Erhan Arıklı recently paid a visit to the Baku Representation of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and met with Ambassador Ufuk Turganer. During the visit, he expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Turganer for his successful work and presented him with copies of his books titled “Azerbaijan under Ottoman Rule in the 19th Century” and “The Caucasus”.
Following the meeting, Minister Arıklı engaged with journalists in Azerbaijan, providing statements and answering questions. Additionally, he laid flowers and offered prayers at the graves of Azerbaijani Deputy Ganira Paşayeva, as well as the Turkish and Azerbaijani martyrs at the Turkish Martyrs’ Cemetery.
Minister Arıklı’s visit aims to strengthen the diplomatic ties between the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus and Azerbaijan. He is expected to return to his home country on Sunday.
The visit underscores the ongoing efforts to foster cooperation and collaboration between the two nations, further enhancing the bilateral relations.
