Minister Dönmez achieves 40 years’ work in 40 days
Fatih Dönmez, the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources and AK Party Eskişehir deputy candidate, attended a rally in Emek Mahallesi where he received a warm welcome from the crowd after his fellow candidates and former Mayor of Odunpazarı Municipality Burhan Sakallı made their speeches. The rally was attended by many residents of the neighborhood who were interested in the event that was taking place simultaneously with the Great Istanbul Rally, attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and over 1.7 million people.
At the podium, Minister Dönmez commented on the performance of the opposition, saying that all they could do was make hearts with their hands. Dönmez said, “Alhamdulillah, we have accomplished what would have taken 40 years in just 40 days. The seeds we planted 20 years ago have now become trees and started to bear fruit. Let’s take a look at the last month of the opposition. They make a movement with their hands, but they have nothing to do with making hearts. In the past, their only skill was making sculptures, now they have added making hearts with their hands.”
Dönmez also talked about the opposition leader’s pledge to bring in $300 billion in clean money, questioning where the money would come from. He told supporters, “Just go to London and say to the moneylenders who are begging for their double gratitude that the contribution of the projects we will commission to us is more than $300 billion. The source is in Anatolia, the source is in the Black Sea.”
Lastly, Dönmez accused the opposition of seeking help from terrorist organizations and their political extensions due to their hatred for President Erdoğan. He said, “Now that the spear didn’t fit in the sack, they began to confess. Believe me, their shirazesi has slipped well. Because of their hatred of Tayyip Erdoğan, they have come to seek help from the terrorist.”
Overall, the rally was a success for the AK Party and Minister Dönmez, as they rallied their supporters in Eskişehir and addressed important issues affecting the country.
