Minister Güler: Operations Continue in Northern Syria
Minister of National Defense Yaşar Güler has reaffirmed that operations are ongoing in northern Syria. He made these comments in response to questions from journalists before the AK Party group meeting in the Turkish Grand National Assembly.
In regards to allegations that false reports were being kept about lieutenants undergoing disciplinary processes, Minister Güler stated, “They appear before a disciplinary board. The people there examine everything. Do you believe everything that is written and drawn? We have said everything we have to say.”
When asked about the possibility of an operation to the east of the Euphrates in Syria, Güler responded, “Do you know how many air operations were carried out yesterday? Everything is already going on.”
