Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır recently attended the 16th Ordinary General Assembly of the detached industrialists and businessmen Association (MUSIAD), where he shared his plans to establish industrial and technology colleges in Anatolian cities. During his speech at the assembly, Minister Kacır emphasized the importance of advanced technology investments in the industrial sector and announced a series of new investments totaling 9.3 billion dollars in various industries such as defense, automotive, health technologies, and energy.

“We are committed to accelerating advanced technology investments in the industrial sector. In line with our vision for 2030, we will establish industry and technology colleges in Anatolian cities to provide the qualified human resources needed by our industry,” said Minister Kacır.

He also highlighted Türkiye’s efforts in becoming a stronger player in the global market, emphasizing the country’s increased production capabilities, national technology move, and self-sufficiency in the defense industry. Minister Kacır stressed the importance of raising the country’s voice both on the field and at the negotiating table.

Following the program, Minister Kacır was presented with a gift and plaques from MUSIAD board members. Additionally, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Young MUSIAD, Muhammad Huzeyfe Güllüoğlu, passed the baton to Mavsum Usta, the newly elected President of Young MUSIAD.

With these new initiatives in place, Türkiye aims to strengthen its industrial sector, develop a skilled workforce, and solidify its position in the global market as a key player in various industries.
