“Minister Özer acknowledges nation’s will in new leadership”
The Education Technologies Incubation and Innovation Center (ETKİM) in Ankara has opened, in collaboration with the Ministry of National Education (MEB) and METU Teknokent. The opening ceremony was attended by Minister Özer, METU Rector Mustafa Verşan Kök, Ministry of National Education Deputy Minister Petek Aşkar, former Deputy Minister of Ministry of National Education Reha Desenç, academics, and guests. The center aims to strengthen the country’s education system by using the knowledge and expertise of stakeholders in education. Minister Özer expressed his gratitude to those who contributed to the establishment of ETKİM and emphasized the importance of renewing and strengthening the country despite difficulties and challenges.
During a press conference, Minister Özer commented on the recent elections, stating that the important thing was that the processes were concluded peacefully without any imposition on the will of the nation. He acknowledged that it was a challenging process, but he expressed his hope that the process will conclude successfully in 15 days. Minister Özer was also asked to comment on his experience as a minister and a newly elected parliamentarian, to which he responded that it was a difficult process, but he hoped that it would be beneficial for the country.
The ETKİM center represents a significant step forward in the development of education technologies in Turkey, and it is hoped that it will contribute to the country’s education system’s overall strength and effectiveness.
