Minister Soylu engages with citizens in Esenyurt
Interior Minister and 2nd Region Deputy Candidate Süleyman Soylu addressed citizens at the Esenyurt Meeting in Esenyurt, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming election. Soylu stated that since the Gezi events 12 years ago, numerous attempts have been made to impede the country’s progress, citing examples such as FETÖ December 17-25, 6-8 October events in the East and Southeast, and the attempted coup on July 15.
Soylu also mentioned economic attacks and attempts to establish a terror state, from the South of Hakkari to Afrin in the South of Hatay. However, he credited the President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the nation’s support with successfully thwarting these efforts with operations such as Euphrates Shield, Olive Branch, Peace Spring, and Peace Shield.
Soylu also praised Turkey for handling the greatest immigration wave in the world, without disturbing public order and security.
In his speech, Soylu urged citizens not to hand over Turkey to those who previously handed it over to America, emphasizing the importance of the upcoming election and the country’s progress.
