Minister Tekin’s Surprise Visits to Village Schools in Bingöl, Muş, and Batman
Minister Tekin of the Ministry of National Education recently made surprise visits to village schools in Bingöl, Muş, and Batman while traveling from Erzurum to Siirt for various openings and programs. His unexpected appearances left both students and teachers pleasantly surprised.
The first stop on Minister Tekin’s itinerary was Kargapazarı Village Primary School in Karlıova district of Bingöl. Upon entering the classroom, the students and teacher were astonished to see him. When asked if they recognized him, one student confidently identified him as the Minister of National Education. Impressed, Tekin revealed that he could tell from the student’s posture. After engaging in a conversation with the students and teachers, Tekin proceeded to his next destination.
Next, Minister Tekin visited Mercimekkale Village Primary School in Muş. As he knocked on the classroom door, the teacher and students were taken aback by his sudden appearance. Both educators and students expressed their joy and excitement at Tekin’s visit. While chatting with teachers in the staff room, Minister Tekin received positive feedback on the Türkiye Century Education Model, implemented in first-grade classes this year.
Finally, Minister Tekin paid his respects at Martyr Şenay Aybüke Yalçın Science High School in Batman’s Kozluk district. The school is named after music teacher Şenay Aybüke Yalçın, who tragically lost her life in a terrorist attack in 2017. During his visit, Minister Tekin took a photo with the students and talked about the artificial intelligence-supported “MEBİ” platform, designed to assist high school students in their university preparation.
Listening to the teachers’ feedback and suggestions, Minister Tekin also visited the students at Martyr Şenay Aybüke Yalçın Music Workshop. He emphasized the importance of personalized learning through the MEBİ platform, aiming to help students reach their academic goals and foster innovative learning experiences tailored to their individual needs.
Minister Tekin’s surprise visits to village schools highlighted his commitment to engaging with students and educators at the grassroots level, while also showcasing the educational initiatives and advancements being implemented in rural areas.
