Ministry announces week-long autumn break for schools starting Nov 4
The Ministry of Preschool and School Education in Uzbekistan has announced the dates for the autumn holidays for schoolchildren. Starting from November 4 and extending through November 10, students will enjoy a week-long break from their studies.
This holiday schedule applies to all general education, creative, and specialized schools within the ministry’s educational system. Classes for the second academic term will resume on November 11, 2024, ensuring a smooth transition back to school after the break.
In the event that the final day of the holiday coincides with a public holiday, classes will recommence on the following working day. This uniform holiday schedule will be observed by all schools across the country.
The autumn break provides students with a valuable opportunity to rest and recharge before returning to their studies. Educational authorities emphasize the importance of taking breaks to maintain students’ well-being and overall academic performance. The Ministry of Preschool and School Education encourages students to make the most of this time off before diving back into their educational pursuits.
