FETO leader Fetullah Gülen has passed away on October 20 in the United States (USA), where he resided for 25 years. The Ministry of National Defense has released a statement regarding Gülen’s death.
In the statement, the Ministry emphasized that Gülen aimed to undermine the independence and future of the Turkish nation by manipulating individuals, causing significant harm to the state and the courageous Turkish military.
“The fact that this traitor died as a ‘stateless’ individual and will forever be remembered as such serves as an example, highlighting the inevitable fate of those who betray their homeland, although it may not ease the pain of our citizens who have suffered from this organization,” the statement read.
The Ministry also called on those who continue to betray their country and nation under the influence of this organization to take heed and submit to the Turkish justice system promptly.
The fight against all terrorist groups, particularly FETO, which exploits various values to betray the people and the country, will persist with determination until their influence is completely eradicated. The Ministry also paid tribute to all martyrs, particularly the heroes of July 15, and expressed gratitude towards veterans and the families of martyrs and veterans.
