
Ministry to Recruit 7,158 Personnel

The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in Turkey recently announced that they will be employing 7,158 new personnel. This decision was revealed by Minister İbrahim Yumaklı during the budget discussions at the Turkish Grand National Assembly. The new positions include 5,500 contracted personnel, 1,500 agricultural workers, and 158 assistant agriculture and forest experts. The recruitment of these personnel will be carried out through various methods, including central recruitment through ÖSYM and selection by lottery through İŞKUR.
According to Minister Yumaklı, the Ministry aims to strengthen its human resources in 2024. He expressed his gratitude to President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for the creation of new staff and emphasized the ministry’s commitment to agricultural production, natural resource protection and development, and citizen-oriented work in the fields of agriculture, forestry, and water.
