MIT Conducts Precision Operation in Sulaymaniyah – Breaking News
MİT Intelligence Neutralizes Two PKK/KCK Terrorists in Iraq
Through the MİT intelligence network, it has been confirmed that two terrorists were last active in the Pencevin region, located in the Sulaymaniyah countryside on the border with Iran. These terrorists, identified as PKK/KCK members Berfin Roj codenamed Caize Selber and Tekoşin Dilgeş code named Emine Ulaş, were found to have close ties to the top management of the organization.
According to the sensitive studies conducted by MİT, it was revealed that the two terrorists were involved in extorting the local population in the region under the guise of taxation. The funds collected were then used to recruit personnel for attacks against Turkish security forces, as well as providing logistical support to the organization. Additionally, they were responsible for identifying and recruiting young individuals to join the terrorist organization, spreading ideological propaganda, and issuing instructions for actions to be taken by the youth wing of the group in Turkey.
Caize Selber and Emine Ulaş, who were wanted on suspicion of terrorism, were on MİT’s target list. The agency carefully monitored their movements and activities before launching a pinpoint operation to neutralize them in the Iraqi/Sulaymaniyah countryside.
Caize Selber, originally from Siirt, was radicalized by the terrorist organization’s propaganda and joined PKK/KCK rural cadres in 1999. He participated in armed activities in various regions and received training at the Party Central School before engaging in social activities in Sulaymaniyah.
Emine Ulaş, the sister of a deceased terrorist, joined the organization in 1999 and was involved in armed activities in Tunceli. She also operated at a responsible level in several areas in Iraq, participating in various social and community initiatives.
The successful operation by MİT has dealt a blow to the terrorist organization, and further details are expected to emerge in the coming days.
