Mongolia Claims 29th Place in Paralympic Medal Ranking
The 2024 Summer Paralympics in Paris, France, has been an exciting event filled with incredible performances from athletes around the world. Among them, the Mongolian team has been making their mark, currently placing 29th in the ranking of Paralympic medals with one gold and two silver medals.
As of September 2, 2024, China is leading the medal table with an impressive 33 gold, 27 silver, and 11 bronze medals. They are followed by powerhouse nations like Great Britain, United States, Brazil, France, Australia, Netherlands, Italy, Uzbekistan, and Switzerland.
One of the standout moments for Mongolia at the Paralympics was U.Surenjav winning the gold medal in taekwondo, with G.Bolor-Erdene also securing a silver medal in the same sport. In athletics, Ts.Battulga added to Mongolia’s medal tally by winning a silver medal.
