Kyrgyzstan’s Member of Parliament, Kamila Talieva, has introduced a bill proposing monthly allowances for families residing in the highlands and border areas with special status, who have children under the age of three. The proposed amendment seeks to modify the existing law on state allowances in the Kyrgyz Republic. If the bill is passed, families in the target regions will receive a monthly allowance of not less than 5,000 soms.
