Multiple Injuries in Afyonkarahisar Accident
A disastrous accident occurred in Afyonkarahisar yesterday, leaving many injured. The incident took place at 17:30 at the intersection of Kebir Neighborhood Deniz Street. A truck with license plate 42 JH 915, driven by İ.Y., lost control due to brake failure and collided with a midibus with license plate 34 CFN 660 that was stopped at a traffic light.
As a result of the accident, the truck driver İ.Y. and passengers XIE TAO (42), LIO Hong (62), LIU Wendong (57), and JIANG YIWEN (61) sustained minor injuries. Emergency response teams quickly arrived at the scene to assist the injured.
Five of the wounded individuals were immediately taken to Dinar State Hospital for treatment after the first aid was administered on-site. Once the vehicles involved in the accident were cleared, the road was reopened for traffic. An investigation into the cause of the accident has been launched.
