Municipalities Union Executive Board Holds Meeting at BRTK
The 1st Executive Board meeting of the Union of Cyprus Turkish Municipalities (KTBB) was successfully held yesterday. The meeting, which was chaired by the KT Municipalities Union and Güzelyurt Mayor Mahmut Özçınar, lasted for approximately three hours.
According to the information provided by KTBB, several key figures were present at the meeting including Iskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu, Mehmetçik-Büyükkonuk Mayor Fatma Çimen Tuğlu, Lefke Mayor Aziz Kaya, Değirmenlik-Akıncılar Mayor Ali Karavezirler, Girne Mayor Murat Şenkul, Yeniboğaziçi Mayor Katip Demir, Beyarmudu Mayor Bülent Bebek, KT Union of Municipalities Administrative Officer Muammer Güneş, Financial Affairs Officer Emine Haydaroğulları, Administrative Officer Nazan Özlatif, and Union Lawyer Müjgan Irkad.
During the meeting, five important agenda items were discussed and unanimously accepted. These items included the bulk purchase of road sweeping vehicles, increasing the state contribution, updating property taxes, revising the daily fees of the shared vehicle park, and the participation of municipalities in an international fair to be held in Germany.
