Music permits to remain valid during Eid al-Adha – BRTK

Music permits issued by the Environmental Protection Department under the Deputy Prime Ministry, Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment will remain valid during Eid al-Adha. This decision was announced in a statement by the Deputy Prime Minister and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth, and Environment.

According to the statement, musical entertainment venues that have already been granted permission by the Environmental Protection Department, and are in compliance with the conditions specified in their permits, will not need to seek additional permission to play music from June 16 to June 19. They will be allowed to broadcast music as long as they adhere to the terms of their existing permits.

It was emphasized in the statement that businesses intending to play music must possess a valid music permit previously obtained from the Environmental Protection Agency, with the permit not having expired.

Businesses that play music without a valid music permit from the Environmental Protection Agency, or fail to comply with the conditions of their permit, will face legal consequences under the Environmental Law No. 18/2012.

This decision ensures that businesses can continue to provide musical entertainment during Eid al-Adha while upholding environmental regulations and standards.
