
Myktybek Abdyldaev Named Head of People’s Kurultai Secretariat

Myktybek Abdyldaev Appointed as Head of the Secretariat of the People’s Kurultai

Myktybek Abdyldaev has been appointed as the head of the secretariat of the People’s Kurultai, as reported by the presidential press service. The order was signed by the head of the state.
Abdyldaev previously served as a deputy of the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan of the V and VI convocations. He is also an Honored Lawyer of the Kyrgyz Republic, Candidate of Legal Sciences, State Councilor of the Civil Service of the 1st class, and a Lieutenant General of police.
In 2020, he was elected to the position of Speaker of the Parliament, but he resigned at his own request the same year.
Abdyldaev’s appointment as the head of the secretariat of the People’s Kurultai is seen as a significant development in Kyrgyzstan’s political landscape. As a prominent figure with a wealth of experience in various government positions, his leadership is expected to have a substantial impact on the functioning of the People’s Kurultai.
