The Naadam Festival: Preparations Almost Complete
As the Naadam festival approaches, preparations are in full swing to ensure a successful and enjoyable event for all attendees. According to official sources, the preparations for the festival are currently at 85 percent completion.
This year, it is estimated that around 12,000 people will gather to watch the festival, and arrangements are being made to accommodate all spectators. One issue that has been addressed this year is the lack of adequate toilet facilities in the main stadium. To rectify this, nine new toilets – six large and three small – are being constructed, and existing facilities are being improved. Additionally, plans are in place for 7,850 parking spaces around the central stadium to accommodate the influx of visitors.
For those wishing to attend the festival, tickets will be available for purchase online starting from July 1. The cost of tickets will range from 80,000 to 150,000 MNT, and each ticket will feature a QR code containing information about the festival program and organized events.
The opening and closing ceremonies of the Naadam festival will showcase the talents of more than 1,000 artists. Among them are performers from Halimag, Tuva, and Inner Mongolia, adding a diverse and cultural element to the event.
