Service Minibus Catches Fire in Zonguldak, Turkey
A service minibus with the plate number 67 AEN 787 caught fire while driving on the Organized Industrial Zone road in Ereğli district of Zonguldak, Turkey. The incident occurred when the driver of the vehicle noticed the situation and pulled the minibus to the side of the road. Soon after, the smoke rising from the minibus turned into flames.
Witnessing the situation, other drivers and nearby citizens quickly informed the 112 Emergency Service teams. Upon receiving the alert, the 112 Emergency teams and Karadeniz Ereğli Municipality firefighters arrived at the scene promptly and started to extinguish the fire. Fortunately, they were able to bring the fire under control and extinguish it in a short time. Thankfully, there were no injuries or loss of life reported in the incident.
As authorities investigate the cause of the fire, the service minibus has been taken to a parking lot for inspection. The police are continuing their investigation into the incident, which reportedly happened on the way back after dropping off workers.
The quick response of emergency services and firefighters helped prevent any casualties in this frightening incident. The safety of the driver and passengers was ensured, and efforts are being made to determine the cause of the fire to prevent similar incidents in the future.
