Basketball Federation President Ertuğ Nasıroğlu completes his contacts in Turkey
The President of the Basketball Federation, Ertuğ Nasıroğlu, recently concluded a series of important meetings in Turkey. During his visit, Nasıroğlu held meetings with key officials including Fatih Uysal, Deputy General Manager of Sports Services, Şükrü Yılmaz, Head of Sports Education and Research Department, and Prof. Dr. Mehmet Günay, President of the Turkish University Sports Federation.
Accompanied by Foreign Relations Officer and General Coordinator Dr. Seyfi Savaş, Nasıroğlu discussed various issues related to the development and promotion of basketball in both Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
One of the key outcomes of the meetings was the promise of sports equipment aid to basketball clubs in TRNC. Additionally, discussions were held regarding the opportunity for infrastructure clubs to participate in Turkish championships. Furthermore, there was agreement on cooperation for Basketball Coach Training, underscoring the commitment to nurturing and developing basketball talent in the region.
Nasıroğlu’s visit has further strengthened the ties between the basketball federations of Turkey and TRNC, setting the stage for enhanced collaboration and mutual support in the field of basketball development.
