Nation Alliance party leaders conclude meeting
Leaders of six prominent political parties in Turkey gathered at the Republican People’s Party (CHP) Headquarters building on May 29, 2023. The meeting was attended by Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, the Chairman of CHP, Meral Akşener, the Chairman of the Good Party, Gültekin Uysal, the Chairman of the Felicity Party, Mustafa Sarıgül, the Chairman of the Democrat Party, Ayhan Bilgen, the Chairman of the Democracy and Atılım Party, and Ahmet Davutoğlu, the Chairman of the Future Party. These parties had formed the Nation Alliance prior to the meeting.
The meeting lasted for an hour and fifteen minutes, and it was closed to the press. However, reports have surfaced that the main topic of discussion was the latest election results. None of the party leaders made any statements to the press following the meeting.
