
National Bank releases commemorative coin for EAEU anniversary

The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan has recently issued a special collectible coin to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The silver collectible coin, titled “The Eurasian Economic Union – 10 years” is part of the “Historical Events” series and will be available starting from April 30th.
On May 29, 2024, it will have been a decade since the signing of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union. The front side of the coin features the official emblem of the EAEU, surrounded by the flags of member countries and elements symbolizing growth and progress. The anniversary date “10 years” is displayed on the left side, along with the inscription “Eurasian Economic Union” along the circumference.
The reverse side of the coin showcases the coat of arms of the Kyrgyz Republic. This collectible coin holds the status of an official means of payment within the country and comes in an acrylic capsule, packed in a case with a quality certificate.
Interested individuals can purchase these collectible coins at the National Bank’s cash desks for 5,780 soms each. The Eurasian Economic Union is an international organization focused on regional economic integration and the development of member state economies. The EAEU includes Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia.
